Choose Another Model When
- You need a straightforward flush/no-drop installation: consider Bottom.
- You cannot access the top of the mudsill: consider Rear.
- You need a dedicated outside-corner support: use Corner 15.

Why Choose the Top Leveler?
- When the foundation or starting surface isn't level, simply resting the starter row against that surface can transfer the irregularity into the installation.
- The Dodge Hanger Top Leveler (DHTL15) addresses this condition by allowing the installer to establish the intended starting position from a marked or chalked level line.
- Install the Top Levelers according to that reference line, then place the material into the saddles. The supports hold the starter row while it is positioned and fastened.
- The current Dodge Hangers specifications also identify the DHTL15 as a drop hanger, producing approximately a 1-inch drop in compatible wall installations.
- For outside corners, pair the Top Leveler with the Dodge Hanger Corner 15 (DHC15).
- The Top Leveler can also be positioned at the edge of a roof rafter tail for specified roof-decking applications.

How much drop does it create?

Step 1 – Establish the starting line
Determine the intended starter-row position and mark or snap the appropriate reference line.
Step 2 – Position the Top Levelers
Place the DHTL supports according to the established line and project layout.
Step 3 – Secure the hangers
Use the stab tab to assist with positioning and install the hangers using approved fasteners.
Step 4 – Place, align and fasten
Rest the material in the saddles, confirm its intended position and complete the required fastening.
For Drop System wall installations, use the appropriate Corner 15 support at outside corners.
Three Ways To Use This Hanger
Siding
Hangs the starter row of siding flush with the bottom of the sheathing — no measuring, no second worker holding it in place.
Sheathing
Installs the starter row of exterior sheathing flush with the mudsill, over a foundation wall, without it dropping out of level.
Roofing
Hangs the starter row of roof decking flush with the rafter tail end when no fascia board is used.
