Choose Another Model When
- The sheathing needs approximately a 1-inch drop below the mudsill: consider the Rear or Top Leveler with Corner 15.
- The foundation or starting surface is out of level: consider the Top Leveler.

Why Choose the Dodge Hanger Bottom?
- Starting the first row of sheathing, siding, or roof decking can be difficult when you're working alone because the material needs to be supported and positioned while you fasten it.
- The Dodge Hanger Bottom (DHB25) provides a temporary support point for the starter row so the material can rest in position during installation.
- What makes the Bottom different is its flush/no-drop function.
- For wall sheathing, the DHB supports the starter row flush with the bottom of the mudsill instead of allowing the sheathing to drop below it.
- For siding, the DHB can support the starter row flush with the bottom of the existing sheathing.
- For roof decking, the DHB is used when the starter row needs to finish flush with the rafter tail and no fascia is being installed.
- For outside corners in a wall-sheathing No Drop System installation, pair the DHB with the Dodge Hanger Corner 0 (DHC0).

DHB25 – Bottom:
Flush / No Drop. For starter rows that stay flush with the starting edge.
DHR15 – Rear:
Drop. For about a 1-inch drop or roof decking with fascia allowance.
DHTL15 – Top Leveler:
Level + Drop. For establishing a starting line on an out-of-level foundation or other verified applications.
DHC0 – Corner 0:
Flush outside-corner support for DHB No Drop System wall applications.

What comes in a package?
10 DHB hangers. Use approved fasteners for installation.
Wall Sheathing – No Drop System
Step 1 – Establish the layout
Determine where each sheet and joint will fall before positioning the hangers.
Step 2 – Install the hangers
Insert the bottom tab of the DHB between the mudsill and the top of the foundation wall. Use the stab tab to help hold the hanger in position, then secure it with approved fasteners.
Step 3 – Position the sheathing
Place the starter-row sheathing into the hanger saddles.
Step 4 – Align and fasten
With the starter row supported in its flush position, align the material and complete the required fastening.
For outside corners, use the compatible Dodge Hanger Corner 0 (DHC0).
Recommended hanger placement
• For vertically installed 4-foot-wide sheathing, the current installation instructions recommend 2 DHBs per sheet.
• For horizontally installed 8-foot-long sheathing, the instructions recommend 3 DHBs per sheet, with supports near each end and one near the center.
• Follow the current Dodge Hangers installation guide and applicable local building requirements.

Siding
Hangs the starter row of siding flush with the bottom of the sheathing — no measuring, no second worker holding it in place.
Sheathing
Installs the starter row of exterior sheathing flush with the mudsill, over a foundation wall, without it dropping out of level.
Roofing
Hangs the starter row of roof decking flush with the rafter tail end when no fascia board is used.
